CSA Group UK Warns of Fraudulent Sira Certificate for Solar Eclipse Eyewear PAR-20-16

CSA Group, a global provider of testing and certification services and a standards development organization, notifies members of the public of a fraudulent “QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CERTIFICATE” that has been identified in the United States.  A new company name and details were added to an original CSA Group UK (Sira) Certificate No. 143115.

The fraudulent certificate for this eyewear claims the “Solar Eclipse Glass” was certified by CSA Group which is misleading as the claimed product has not been tested by CSA Group and did not receive a Sira Certificate.
