The recalled products are non-NEMA 50-amp connectors, plugs, receptacles and inlets and are used to transmit power to electrical equipment that is not hard-wired to a power source.

Hazard identified: The ground and hot wire terminal designations found in the 3-wire versions of the affected products are mislabelled, posing a potential electric shock hazard.

As of April 20, 2020, the company has received no reports of incidents or injuries in Canada. In the United States, the company has received one reported incident resulting in minor injury.

Number sold: Approximately 4,399 units of the affected product were sold in Canada and approximately 74,000 were sold in the United States.

Time period sold: The affected products were sold from May 2019 to January 2020.

Place of origin: Manufactured in Mexico
