Two Organizations Will Work Together to Develop Safety Standards in China

Recently, CSA Group, a leading standards development organization and a global provider of testing and certification services met with China National Institute of Standardization (CNIS) in Beijing. Magali Depras, the COO of CSA Group, Jiang Yi, VP of China and Hongkong and Mr. Ma Lincong, President of CNIS,Tang Wanjin, VP of CNIS discussed the topics of energy efficiency, safety management of consumer goods, asset management, urban sustainability and hazardous location equipment management, among others.

CSA Group then signed its first Letter of Intent with CNIS to promote cooperation in the fields of energy efficiency, safety management of consumer goods, asset management, urban sustainability and other areas through academic exchanges, mutual visits of personnel, and joint development of international research projects.
