CSA Group, a leading global provider of testing and certification services, is notifying consumers and retailers that certain lighting fixtures branded by Faubourg Lighting Inc. (located in Hazelhurst, Mississippi), Charleston Gas Light Inc. (located in Charleston, South Carolina) & Charleston Lighting and Manufacturing Inc. (located in Mobile, Alabama) are advertised as CSA Group certified products, however, no current certification contract exists.

Such advertising may also display unauthorized CSA Group US and Canada Certification Marks and/or outdated file numbers on the fixture label(s).

The affected units are advertised for sale on the manufacturer’s websites at:http://charlestonlighting.com

http://charlestonlighting.com/charlestongaslight.

There have been no reports of damage, fire or injury.

Consumers with the affected models are advised to contact their retailer, point-of-sale or the distributor or to contact CSA Group via email to verify authenticity of CSA Group certification at: [email protected].
