Emmy has worked in roles spanning government, academia, and non-profit organizations. Before joining the CSA Public Policy Centre, he worked in the federal civil service with Infrastructure Canada and Public Services and Procurement Canada. He also has held roles with the International Development Research Centre, University of British Columbia and Foundry, where he supported projects designed to enhance health outcomes in Canada and the Global South. His work has been featured in media outlets including the CBC, Toronto Star, CityNews, and Canada’s National Observer. Emmy holds a Master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Waterloo.
