CSA Group, a leading global provider of standards development, testing and certification services, recently issued Zhejiang Astronergy, a leading company in new energy, a CSA Group Witnessed Manufacturer’s Testing for Certification (WMTC) certificate for its PV module UL1703. Astronergy’s laboratory is now a witnessed manufacturer’s testing laboratory (WMTL) as certified by CSA Group. A CSA Group certification mark will appear on qualified products certified by the laboratory allowing those products to be sold in the North American market. WMTL is currently one of the most popular localized services provided by CSA Group in China, and only laboratories that meet the CSA No. 61730-1 and CSA No. 62730-2 qualification can acquire WMTL certification. Qualifying as a WMTL with a CSA Group certification can help reduce time and costs, allowing products to reach global markets faster.
