Ash Sahi, President and CEO, CSA Group, today announced the appointments of two new Vice Presidents in Asia. Effective immediately, Mr. Jiang Yi is appointed to the position of Vice President for China & Hong Kong and Ms. Claudia Chan is appointed to the position of Vice President for North & Southeast Asia.

“Mr. Yi and Ms. Chan bring extensive Asian business experience and an impeccable track record in business development that will be instrumental in expanding CSA Group’s regional and global service offerings for our Asian clients,” said Mr. Sahi. “As we embark on our new five-year business plan, their leadership and business skills will serve as invaluable assets to continue to grow our testing and certification and other service offerings in Asia.”

In addition to leading their respective Asia teams, they will also be appointed as members of Executive Operations Committee to provide strategic insights in CSA Group global operations.

Jiang Yi will be located in Guangzhou, China. He joined CSA Group in 2012 and has demonstrated excellent leadership and extensive experience in TICs industry. Prior to joining CSA Group, Jiang Yi served as APAC Vice President of Commercial and Electrical Division, Intertek, where he supervised a wide range of product lines and services and he was responsible for improving and maintaining all P&L, operations, sales and marketing and financial discipline to align with robust business goals.

Claudia Chan will be located in Shanghai, China and will be responsible for CSA Group operations in Taiwan, Korea and Japan and oversee the continuous expansion in Asia. Claudia brings more than 20 years senior management experience in the region of North and Southeast Asia. She joins CSA Group from Bureau Veritas where she served as Regional Chief Executive to manage a diverse team of over 600 staff across eight ASEAN countries (Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Myanmar) to focus on the growth of sales of Consumer Products Services.
