A series of explosions that killed over one hundred people and injured hundreds of others occurred at a container storage station at the Port of Tianjin, China on Wednesday, 12 August 2015. In memory of the victims, and to offer support to survivors, CSA Group China raised funds for victims and families of the disaster.

The accident shocked all of China and the world. As a leading global provider of standards development, testing and certification services and an organization dedicated to social good, CSA Group and its employees mourn the tragic loss of life and expressed a desire to support the victims of this tragedy. To show its support for the victims of the tragedy, CSA Group immediately launched a fundraising at CSA China and Hong Kong offices, to raise money. During the last two weeks, staff of CSA China and Hong Kong have actively devoted themselves to supporting recovery efforts by offering donations, and expressing their grief and condolences to the victims and their families.

The money raised has been donated to the charity organization Tianjin Workstation for Receiving Donation for Disaster Relief and Poverty Alleviation. All the donated funds will go directly to the victims and their families.

For almost a hundred years, CSA Group has been dedicated to advancing safety, sustainability and social good.
