The acquisition of emitel AG is the fourth such expansion for CSA in the European market following the acquisitions of INTRATest GmbH, a privately-held product testing business with strong focus on medical devices and laboratory equipment located in Gebenstorf, Switzerland, mikes-testingpartners gmbh near Munich, Germany which certifies electric and electronic devices and systems for nearly all branches of industry, and the UK-based SIRA Test and Certification Limited (and three affiliated companies) a world leader in the conformity assessment solutions field specializing in the testing of safety equipment used in potentially explosive atmospheres.

emitel AG supports its clients in the very early stages of their R&D work by simulating and optimizing the EMC behaviour of their products. With its laboratory management program, emitel AG carries out the co-ordination, implementation and facilities operations for its clients at their premises. Its leading edge EMC-testing facilities provide testing for almost any kind of emission and immunity measurements. Stand alone equipment and combinations of test instruments enable emitel to offer a complete EMC-scope from ANSI to ZV in a very efficient way.

emitel AG can support clients in the fulfilment of their regulatory automotive requirements. This includes the technical testing of the automotive component, the entire car or even motor cycles in its laboratories plus the application and project handling to obtain the E1 – approval by the KBA in Germany, or alternative E 13 – approval, through the SNCH (Société Nationale de Certification et d’Homologation, Luxembourg). This service can be obtained for all kinds of automotives including Hybrid- and E-Vehicles.
