CSA, a leading testing and certification organization, today officially announces the grand opening of a new, state-of-the-art testing and certification laboratory in Hong Kong. Equipped with advanced technology, the new lab will provide significant localized testing capabilities for manufacturing clients including: lighting, household appliances, battery operated tools, transformers, wiring devices and other electrical products. The unveiling of the Hong Kong facility follows two similar CSA announcements this week of laboratory openings in Shanghai and Guangzhou.

Located in Shatin, the new office and laboratory facility occupies 5,129 square feet. The new location provides qualified testing and certification services for Hong Kong’s manufacturers locally, helping them reduce costs, time-to-market and improve product quality. With its new local laboratory in place, CSA’s long-term expertise in this arena will contribute to the healthy development of the industry while helping to strengthen the Hong Kong brand of quality worldwide.
