This recall involves Metabo brand angle grinders with a brake. The tools have an extended rat tail handle and red band behind the gear housing. The tools are about 16 inches long, with a green motor housing and black rear handle. The affected products are CSA certified with certification file number 217282.

Hazard: Dust can enter the machine and cause the switch trigger to remain on, posing a laceration hazard.
As of November 11, 2017, the company has not received any reports of incidents or injuries in Canada.
