CSA Group has produced occupational health & safety standards for more than 70 years. Today, we offer a portfolio of more than 115 standards, many of which are referenced in legislation, as well as pioneering standards on psychological health and safety in the workplace, work in extreme conditions, and carer-inclusive and accommodating organizations.

Our standards are based on our own research as well as our robust and collaborative standards development process. We also work with other respected organizations to develop these standards.

Many of CSA Group’s occupational health & safety standards are developed with funding support provided by the Canadian Association of Administrators of Labour Law – Occupational Safety and Health (CAALL-OSH), including Provincial and Territorial Governments, as well as the Government of Canada. Support is also provided by industry, labour, sector-related associations, academia, and research institutions.

By working together with a diverse group of experts, we’re evolving and expanding our standards solutions to address the latest challenges. These include standards for psychological health & safety in the workplace, first aid kits and first aid training for the workplace, and the Canadian adoption of ISO 45001 with Canadian deviations, in addition to our robust portfolio of equipment, personal protection, and occupational health & safety management system standards.
