Participation in activities with CSA Group’s Standards organization — such as contributing to a technical committee or participating in an educational or training program — can qualify you to earn Continuing Education Credits (CECs). Many professional organizations, like the Professional Engineers of Ontario and others, recognize these activities as professional development and count them towards CECs depending on the circumstances. There are a range of activities that can qualify, including participation in technical discussions (e.g., committee meetings), reading CSA standards and publications, conference attendance, serving on advisory panels, or completing educational training.
